Senior Automation Engineer

We're looking for an Automation Engineer with 3-5 years automation experience. You will be working to create tests, frameworks, and tooling. In addition to helping improve team velocity through automation and streamlining testing processes.
You are someone who is organized, collaborative and possess a demonstrated ability in QA Tools and processes. As a team member, your knowledge of testing methodologies will help the QA Tools team release daily with confidence.

What you’ll be doing here: x
  • Maintain and expand software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Maintain and create automation frameworks, tooling and tests
  • Hands-on experience to refine/extend test automation frameworks to support the QA Tools team
  • Participate in test framework design discussions, reviews, and implementation
  • Maintain and expand existing Ruby/Webdriver automation
  • Clearly write concise tests cases, plans, and defects
  • Document test suites and maintain existing libraries
  • Perform manual testing to help validate enhancements, features, and bug-fixes
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers and developers
 
About you and your skills:
  • Experience working on test frameworks
  • Experience in developing automation test scripts, execution, and maintenance
  • Experience in Java, Selenium Webdriver
  • Experience with Development Tools, QA, and Agile tools: JIRA, Testrail for JIRA, Git, Jenkins/Travis
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Sumo, Datadog, Rollbar)
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile Development/SCRUM
  • Experience with API Testing
  • Be able to work well individually as well as in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, self-motivated, detailed, quick-learner and organized
