Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We design, develop and deploy advanced robotics systems at warehouses, distribution centers and fulfillment centers. We're looking for an experienced, motivated self-starter to join our team and help us architect, integrate, and deploy our newest cloud-based warehouse automation product. Role:

  • Drive design and implementation of a scalable and flexible SaaS deployment infrastructure for cloud environments.

  • Configure and manage cloud resources for a microservice-oriented architecture using Kubernetes, including ingress control, service definition and discovery, data storage and integrity, and fail-over

  • Adopt frameworks, security mechanisms, and infrastructure that support both developer and customer-facing continuous integration and rapid deployments

  • Work with Cloud DevOps team to manage active deployments

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in container, orchestration, and deployment systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform

  • Expertise in configuring, administering, and monitoring cloud compute resources (network, compute, load balancing, monitoring, etc) for SaaS deployments in one or more major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, and/or AWS)

  • Expertise in standing up CI/CD pipelines for cloud or hybrid cloud/on-prem deployments including tools like Jenkins, Ansible, etc

  • Familiarity with common cloud security approaches.

Additional experience:

  • Experience with web-based stack (e.g. Spring, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Javascript, etc)

  • Experience with back-end development tools including REST APIs, JSON, Spring boot, etc.

  • Experience with authentication methods and protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and Active Directory 

  • Experience with role-based access controls
